• The music of composer Leonardo Dugan, pioneering in its fusion of contemporary style and classical form, has been hailed by critics as “jazz-inflected” as well as “melodic and accessible,” and for making the listener “more inclined to give contemporary composers a chance.” 

  • Danny Boy Orchestration - World Premiere

    The Kansas City Symphony and baritone John Brancy will be premiering Dugan’s orchestration of “Danny Boy” as part of the Bank of America Celebration at the Station concert on May 27, 2018. Brancy, along with pianist Peter Dugan, recently premiered Dugan’s “I Have a Rendezvous with Death,” commissioned by The Juilliard School, at Lincoln Center.
