All is Fair
All is Fair is an upcoming comic opera in three acts from composer/librettist Leonardo Dugan. A mixture of Verdi, Mozart, Cole Porter, and Judd Apatow, All is Fair is the story of three “bros” who discover that their mutual friend Lana is no longer romantically involved with a certain disreputable fellow named Steve. They agree to a “gentlemen’s bet” – they will all pursue Lana, and “may the best man win.” Of course all manner of skullduggery and mayhem ensues as these three fools compete for the affections of a woman who certainly has no intentions of being “won” by anyone!
Two of the arias from the opera have already been performed throughout the U.S., to enthusiastic acclaim. Stay tuned for more upcoming performances!
